Status and scope
Effective date: 30 September 2026.
Publication note. The service operator’s legal identity and address are awaiting confirmation. These terms describe the service and your choices; the operator and governing-law details will be added when confirmed. Questions can be sent to support@sleepanion.com.
These terms concern the Sleepanion website and iPhone experience. The applicable App Store terms and any licence presented with the app also apply to its distribution. Nothing here removes rights that applicable consumer law does not allow a business to exclude. The Privacy notice explains information handling; using the service is not blanket consent to unrelated data processing.
What Sleepanion is for
Sleepanion offers sounds, listening routines, personal reflections and optional context from existing Apple Health sleep information. It is designed for relaxation and self-reflection. It is not a medical device, diagnostic service, treatment, emergency service or substitute for professional care. It does not guarantee that you will fall asleep, sleep for a particular duration or improve a condition.
Listening time records listening, not sleep. Health measurements can be incomplete or inaccurate, and personal reflections are subjective. A recommendation is a listening suggestion, not a clinical assessment. Seek appropriate professional advice for persistent sleep difficulties or health concerns. Use your local emergency services when urgent help is needed.
Listening comfortably
Choose a comfortable volume and an output suitable for your surroundings. Keep important alarms and sounds audible. Do not use a relaxation session where reduced attention could create danger, including while driving or operating machinery. Stop if listening causes discomfort.
A gentle return cue is a way to end a session, not a dependable wake-up alarm. System interruptions, device settings, battery conditions, headphones and other applications may affect playback. You remain in control of your device volume and can pause or stop a journey.
Accounts, devices and local records
Apple or Google sign-in is required to enter the app. Keep access to that identity-provider account secure and use an account you are authorised to use. A first sign-in, reauthentication and remote account actions require an internet connection. A previously verified session may retain local offline access, but known rejection or a required reauthentication can return you to sign-in.
Your local diary is not a cloud backup. Signing into another device or account does not transfer it. You are responsible for deciding whether to create and safely keep an export before erasing data or changing devices. The app cannot recover local-only records from its account service.
The service is not designed specifically for children. Eligibility and any required parental permissions depend on applicable law and the conditions of the distribution channel. The website does not offer child accounts or an age-verification service.
Membership, renewal and refunds
The current sound collection includes content labelled free during launch. That label is not a promise that every future feature or collection will be free. Prices, plans and eligible offers, if available, are shown before you buy, together with the included content, billing period and relevant conditions.
If you choose an App Store membership, Apple processes payment. Eligible offers, local price, taxes where displayed, subscription period and renewal terms are shown through the purchase flow. An auto-renewing subscription follows the terms shown by Apple unless cancelled through the appropriate Apple controls. Cancelling, refund eligibility and any statutory withdrawal rights are governed by the applicable purchase terms and law.
Use Restore purchases with the App Store account used to buy the membership. A Sleepanion sign-in account and an App Store purchasing account can be different. Deleting Sleepanion, deleting its account or erasing local records does not cancel a subscription. A lapsed membership does not erase personal records you already entered.
Manage or cancel an Apple subscription · Request a refund from Apple. These links do not promise that a particular refund will be approved.
Content and permitted use
Use Sleepanion for lawful personal purposes in accordance with the app licence and applicable law. Do not attempt unauthorised access, interfere with service security, impersonate another person, distribute harmful code or misuse other people’s accounts or information.
Branding, interface design, editorial material and app software may be protected by intellectual-property laws. Sound recordings and other materials can carry their own licences or credits; Sleepanion does not claim exclusive ownership of third-party public-domain or openly licensed originals. Your private notes remain your content. The service does not need a public-posting licence to your local diary.
The app refers to Apple’s standard end user licence agreement. Review the licence that accompanies the actual App Store distribution. Rights expressly granted under an applicable open licence are not reduced by this paragraph.
Availability and changes
Sleepanion is designed for supported iPhones; the current app targets iOS 18 or later. Features can depend on device capabilities, permissions, available recordings, network access and Apple or Google services. The website is informational and does not provide a web version of the private diary.
Maintenance, security incidents, provider outages and software changes may interrupt service. Product availability and purchase availability can differ by region. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or a particular release date. Material changes affecting paid access or your rights require appropriate notice and must respect applicable law and the terms accepted for the purchase.
Ending use and deleting information
You can stop using the service and separately delete your remote account, erase local records, remove Health permissions or manage subscriptions. See the deletion guide. A deletion request is complete only when the service confirms it; provider access revocation may require an explicitly explained manual step.
Access may need to be restricted for a material breach, an account-security issue or a legal requirement. Any restriction should be proportionate, with explanation and a route to contact support where lawful and practical. Mandatory rights to your data and consumer remedies remain available.
Consumer rights and responsibility
Sleepanion should provide the service with the care required by applicable law. This page does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights concerning defective digital services, fraud or other non-excludable responsibilities. It does not require mandatory arbitration, waive class-action rights or name a foreign exclusive court.
No exclusive jurisdiction or choice of governing law is specified here. Your place of residence may give you mandatory protections regardless of a future choice-of-law provision.
For a product or billing concern, contact support@sleepanion.com with enough detail to identify the issue, without sending sensitive account credentials. This does not prevent you from contacting Apple, a relevant consumer authority or a court where you are entitled to do so.
Updates and contact
Material revisions will carry a new date and an appropriate explanation. New terms do not retrospectively remove mandatory rights. If a change needs your agreement under applicable law, publication alone will not replace that requirement.
Contact support@sleepanion.com. English and Thai versions are provided for accessibility. Neither is designated as overriding the other on this page. If wording seems inconsistent, tell us so it can be corrected.
